Items
An item is a piece of work: a task, a bug, an epic or any type your workspace defines. Each item has an ID made of the project key and a number, such as WEB-12.
Create an item
Section titled “Create an item”- Press C in a project or on Home.
- Click Add at the bottom of a board column; the item gets that column’s value.
- Type a title in the command palette (Ctrl K) and press Enter.
- Import many at once from CSV, or create them through the REST API.

Open an item
Section titled “Open an item”Clicking an item opens it in a side panel, so you keep your place. Open as page gives it a page of its own, and Copy link copies its address.
Sub-items
Section titled “Sub-items”Break an item into sub-items under Sub-items → Add. The parent shows how many are done. Sub-items go one level deep; under an epic, its items can have sub-items too (epic → item → sub-item). A parent must be in the same project.
Comments and activity
Section titled “Comments and activity”Activity shows every change (status, assignee, deadline …) and the comments, newest first. The comment box sits at the top, right under the heading. Write a comment and press Ctrl Enter. Type @ to mention someone; they get it in their inbox. You can edit and delete your own comments.
Complete, archive or delete
Section titled “Complete, archive or delete”Click Mark as complete to move the item to the first status that counts as Done. Click again to reopen it. If the item still waits on others, see Dependencies.
Archive item (in the item’s ⋯ menu, or Archive when you right-click it) hides the item and its sub-items from boards, lists, Home, search and reminders. Nothing is lost: comments, files and history stay, and its link still works. An archived item shows a banner with Restore. To find archived items, open the project’s ⋯ menu and choose Archived items (an empty board or list also offers Show archived items); Restore brings an item back with the sub-items that were archived with it. Archiving needs the Edit permission.
Delete item removes it for good. Prefer archiving: automations, the REST API and AI assistants can archive items but never delete them.
