Workspace settings

Settings → General holds the settings for the whole workspace. Owners and admins (and roles with the settings permission) can change them.

Setting What it does
Name Shown in the menu, in invitations and in emails.
Logo Upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP, or pick an icon and color.
Address The link to the workspace (/w/<address>). It cannot be changed yet.
Default language New members get this language. Everyone can change their own.
Time zone Used for today, deadlines and snoozes. Everyone can choose their own.
Getting started guide On: new people get a checklist on Home, and the owner of a workspace without projects gets a welcome. Off hides both for everyone. Each person can also hide the guide for themselves.

The page also shows the number of members and guests, active projects, open items and storage used. Labels, Work, and Security and data are their own pages in the settings menu, see Rules.

  • Leave workspace: you lose access until someone invites you again. An owner can only leave once another owner remains.
  • Delete workspace: closes the workspace for everyone at once. Only owners can do this, and you confirm by typing the address. Every owner gets an email.

A deleted workspace is kept for 30 days. During that time nobody can open it, and members see that it was deleted.

  • Restore: an owner finds it under Deleted on the list of workspaces (the page you get from the workspace menu) and clicks Restore. Everything comes back as it was: projects, items, comments, files, members and settings. Every owner gets an email.
  • After 30 days the workspace is removed for good with everything in it, and it cannot be restored any more. It leaves our backups within 14 days after that.
  • Need it gone sooner? Write to privacy@nod3.se and we remove it right away.

Deleting, restoring and removing are kept in the activity log and the platform’s own log.
