Files
Upload
Section titled “Upload”- On an item, drag files onto Attachments or click Attach. Press Ctrl V to paste an image.
- On a project’s Files tab, click Upload or drag files onto the page.
- In a chat, click the paper clip next to the message box.
Clicking Attach, Upload or the paper clip opens a dialog where you can drop or choose several files at once. It shows each file’s type, size and a thumbnail for pictures, and marks in red any file that cannot be uploaded, with the reason. Files you drag straight onto a page upload at once.
You can upload images (PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP), PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OpenDocument, CSV, TXT and Markdown files. Each file can be up to 50 MB, and a workspace has 10 GB in total. SVG and HTML files are not accepted, because browsers run scripts inside them.
From Google Drive
Section titled “From Google Drive”When an admin has connected Google Drive, the dialog also has Choose from Google Drive. Files and folders you pick there are attached as links: they stay in Drive, open in Drive, and do not count toward the workspace’s storage.
Find and view
Section titled “Find and view”A project’s Files tab shows every file in the project, including those on its items. Filter by Images, PDF, Documents or Google Drive. Images and PDFs open in a preview; other files download.
Who can do what
Section titled “Who can do what”Owners, admins and members upload. Guests can see and download the files of projects they are in. The person who uploaded a file, or an owner or admin, can delete it. Deleting cannot be undone.
How files are kept
Section titled “How files are kept”Every file is encrypted before it is stored, on servers in the EU. Only signed-in members of the workspace can download it.
