Finding your way

  • Home: your work, most urgent first.
  • Inbox: mentions, assignments, messages and reminders.
  • The bell next to the workspace name: your latest notifications in a dropdown. See The notification bell.
  • Views: items across all projects, as a list or a board.
  • Projects: every project you can see.
  • New: projects a colleague or an integration (for example a won deal in HubSpot) created recently that you have not opened yet. Opening a project or adding it to favorites takes it off the list, and after 7 days it goes away by itself (an admin can change the days or turn the list off under Rules). Projects you create yourself never show here.
  • Favorites: projects, boards and people you starred, in folders and in the order you choose. See Favorites below.
  • People, at the bottom: everyone in the workspace with their role.
  • Integrations, at the bottom above your name: the apps WORK³ connects to, such as Slack, your CRM, Claude and ChatGPT. Without the integrations permission this is My integrations, the apps you connect for yourself.
  • Settings: your profile and, if your role allows, the workspace. The settings menu has icons and three groups: Workspace (General, Labels, Work, Integrations, AI assistant), Administration (Members & roles, Security and data, Plan and billing, Audit log) and My account (Profile & appearance, My integrations, AI usage). Workspace and Administration show only the pages your role may open, so a member sees only My account; see Who sees which settings. Each page has one link, and the workspace name and your role show at the top of the menu.

Favorites is your own list: nobody else sees it or how you arrange it.

  • Add a project with Add to favorites in its right-click menu or the star on the project. Its starred boards show under it.
  • Add a person with Add to favorites when you right-click their name or picture, in the right-click menu of their conversation in the Inbox, or with the star at the top of your chat with them. Clicking them in Favorites opens your chat, and a count shows how many of their messages are unread.
  • New folder: point at Favorites and click +, type a name and press Enter (Esc cancels). Click a folder to fold or unfold it; a folded folder shows how many things are in it. Right-click a folder to Rename it or Delete folder…; what was in it moves back out to Favorites.
  • Sort and move by dragging: drop a project or person above or below another to put it there, on a folder to put it in the folder, and on Drop here to put it last at the bottom to move it out to the end. Folders can be dragged too, but not into another folder.
  • Without dragging, right-click a favorite and choose Move up, Move down, Move to folder (with New folder… to make one and put it there at once) or Move out of folder.
  • Click the pin next to the workspace name at the top of the sidebar (or press Ctrl </kbd>, ⌘ </kbd> on Mac) to hide it. A thin strip stays on the left, with the notification bell and your picture at the bottom for the account menu.
  • While it is hidden, move the pointer to the strip and the sidebar slides out over the page. It hides again when the pointer leaves it.
  • Click the pin in the slid-out sidebar (or press Ctrl </kbd> again) to keep it open.

Your choice is remembered in this browser. The platform console and the partner home work the same way.

On a phone the sidebar is a menu: tap ☰ at the top left to open it, and tap a page, outside the menu or × to close it. The search, notification bell and Inbox buttons sit at the top right, and the Inbox button shows how many messages are unread. In the Inbox the list and the conversation take turns; the arrow at the top of a conversation takes you back to the list.

Press Ctrl K (⌘ K on Mac) to search items, projects, people and commands. Type a title that matches nothing and press Enter to create an item with that title.

Most things in WORK³ have a menu on right-click: cards, list rows, projects, comments, files and conversations. It holds the common actions, such as changing status, copying a link or opening in a new tab.

An error message says what happened. If the server could not be reached (for example while a new version starts), wait a moment and try again. An error on our side shows a short reference; a page that fails to load shows the error and Copy error details. Send the reference or the copied details to support@nod3.se and we can find what happened.
