Your first project

Go to Projects and click New project.

  • Name: for example “Client · New website”.
  • Key: two to ten capital letters or digits, starting with a letter. Items in the project are numbered with it: WEB-1, WEB-2 and so on.
  • Client (optional): the company the project is for.
  • Template: start Empty, or from Onboarding (12 items in 4 phases) or Integration (8 items, test and go-live). A template adds milestones and the items that lead up to each.

Press Ctrl Enter or click Create project.

On the board, click Add at the bottom of a column, or press C anywhere in the project. Give the item a title and, if you like, a description, an assignee, a priority and a deadline. Turn on Create more to add several in a row.

Have a list already? Import it from CSV.

Go to Settings → Members & roles, type an email address, pick a role and click Send invitation. Invite clients as guests so they can follow the work without changing it. A guest sees only the projects you add them to.

  • Home shows what is yours, most urgent first.
  • The board shows the flow, the list the details.
  • The overview shows progress, milestones and recent activity.
