Pipedrive
Connect Pipedrive and a won deal can start a project in WORK³, and the project’s status and link are shown on the deal. Your contacts and client data stay in Pipedrive. WORK³ works just as well without it.
Connect Pipedrive
Section titled “Connect Pipedrive”- Go to Settings → Integrations → Pipedrive and click Connect Pipedrive. You need the Connect integrations and rules permission.
- Sign in to Pipedrive and allow WORK³ in your company account.
WORK³ then reads your pipelines and stages and adds two deal fields of its own: WORK³ status and WORK³ project. It reads deals, organizations, people and users. It writes nothing else, except what workflow steps you build ask for: Update deal (stage, value) and Add note (see Workflows).
WORK³ acts as the person who connected it, so it only sees the deals that person can see in Pipedrive. Connect with an admin, or a user who sees all deals, if every won deal should start a project.
Choose when a deal counts as won
Section titled “Choose when a deal counts as won”Under Settings on the Pipedrive page, the Stage that means won is Won (marked as won) to begin with: the deal counts as won when someone clicks Won on it in Pipedrive. You can pick a pipeline stage instead, if your team moves deals to a stage when they are signed.
Tag the projects
Section titled “Tag the projects”Under Settings on the Pipedrive page, pick Tags on new projects among the workspace’s tags. Every project created from a won deal gets them, so you can filter the projects page on, say, Sales. Add new tags under Settings → Labels first.
Start a project when a deal is won
Section titled “Start a project when a deal is won”Click New rule and choose Create a project when a deal is won. Pick a template if you like. When a deal is won:
- a project is created with the deal’s title, and the deal’s organization as client. The client links to the organization in Pipedrive, with the Pipedrive icon;
- the project gets the deal’s value and currency, the day it was won as its start date, and the deal’s contact person (and their primary email) as client contact;
- the deal owner leads the project, when they are a member of your workspace with the same email;
- the project links to the deal.
A deal only ever starts one project, even if it is reopened and won again.
Project status on the deal
Section titled “Project status on the deal”WORK³ status on the deal shows how the project is going, for example Active · 3 of 10 done, and WORK³ project holds the project’s link. You find them among the deal’s fields, and can add them as columns in the deals list. They update as work is done. Changes made to them in Pipedrive are overwritten.
Reconnect
Section titled “Reconnect”If Pipedrive has not been used by WORK³ for 60 days, Pipedrive ends the sign-in. The app page then shows an error: click Reconnect and sign in again. Settings and rules stay.
Disconnect
Section titled “Disconnect”Disconnect stops rules and status updates, and WORK³ removes its webhook and signs out of your Pipedrive account. Projects that were created stay, and so do the WORK³ fields in Pipedrive with their values, which you can delete there.
